Today we test fitted an R2 handlebar kit to a new 2010  R1200RT.
The brake hose and throttle cables are just long enough to handle the R2 raised position.

From looking at the new RT it appears that our driver and passenger footpeg kits will fit.


The new shift lever is cast aluminum with an adjustable nose piece that will accommodate large shoe sizes.
Our S6 modified steel shifter will fit the new bike, but the new factory cast aluminum shifter has no trade-in value.

 


This is a close-up shot of the 2010 handlebar.
It mounts with three bolts that measure in as having the same spacing pattern as earlier models.
